Diponegoro University held a commemoration ceremony for the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia after two years of the pandemic. The commemoration ceremony of the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia was held offline, taking place at the Diponegoro University Stadium, Tembalang on Wednesday (17/08/2022). Attended by the entire academic community with Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum. as the Supervisor of the Ceremony.
In the mandate of the ceremony supervisor, Prof. Yos delivered a speech from the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Mendikbudristek), Nadiem Anwar Makarim who said that, we must not stop moving and stepping as a form of independence struggle in this day and age by inflaming the spirit of “Recover Faster, Rise Stronger”.
Furthermore, Prof. Yos also conveyed his mandate to all participants in the ceremony. He conveyed the news about Undip’s achievements, which are still the top 5 favorite universities in 2022 in Indonesia. He also advised that Undip’s welfare depends on our efforts. “So if we want Undip to be more munawaroh, more radiant, more grace lil alamin, let’s start with simple things first, for example by establishing harmony with friends, creating a polite and affectionate Undip,” he said.
