Semarang, tekkom.ft.undip.ac.id – Agung Budi Prasetijo S.T., M.I.T., Ph.D. was present as one of the speakers in the Dialog Public event of TVRI Central Java station on Wednesday (14/09/2022). The television show, which was broadcast at 17.00 WIB, reviewed the cybersecurity system and the hacking of a number of sites in Indonesia. As an IT Expert at the Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University, Agung shared his opinion about the data leakage event due to hacking which is being hotly discussed by the public. Agung argues that in Indonesia it is still necessary to strengthen education on security awareness of cybercrime. Hacking is increasingly prevalent because the tools used and the information needed are easier to access. “Two things that need to be hightlighted in securing the network in the future are education to the public and strengthening human resources in the IT field to build networks,” he said.
