Pemalang, tekkom.ft.undip.ac.id – The multidisciplinary work program of KKN Undip Team II has successfully developed a village service platform based on a WhatsApp Chatbot for the people of Mengori Village. Launched on July 29, 2024, this platform aims to facilitate the community’s access to various services provided by the village administration, addressing the previous reliance on word-of-mouth for information dissemination. This innovation is expected to make service delivery more optimal, equitable, and efficient.
“We saw the need to enhance the efficiency and ease of access to village services for the community. Therefore, we developed a WhatsApp Chatbot that can act as a bridge between the community and the village administration,” said Willy, the Head of KKN Undip Team II.
Through this platform, the community can access information and submit various service requests, such as making Identity Cards (KTP), Family Cards (KK), certificates, and even complaints. All these services have been tailored to the specific needs and types of services available in Mengori Village.
“We hope this platform can be a solution for the people of Mengori Village to gain easier and more efficient access to village services. We will also provide ongoing support to ensure that this platform is fully utilized by the village administration,” added Nindy, Deputy Head of KKN Undip Team II.
Mr. Eko, one of the village officials in Mengori, welcomed this program positively. “The presence of this WhatsApp Chatbot platform greatly assists us in providing services to the community. The community can easily access information and submit service requests. We will work closely with the KKN team to ensure that this platform is optimally utilized.”
The main target of this program is the Mengori Village administration. The KKN Undip team will provide guidance and technical training to village officials so they can operate and manage the platform independently. The goal is to ensure the sustainability of better information access for the community in the future.
“We hope that with this platform, the village administration can be more optimal in providing services to the people of Mengori Village. We will continue to work with the village officials to ensure the sustainability and utilization of this platform,” concluded Willy.
