Salahudin Al Ayubi, Undip Computer Engineering Student Wins National Gold in APJC 2022 NetAcad Riders Competition

Semarang, tekkom.ft.undip.ac.id – Salahudin Al Ayubi, a student of the 2020 Computer Engineering class, won first place at the national level in the NetAcad Riders APJC (Asia Pacific, Japan, and Greater China) 2022 competition. This competition was held by Cisco Networking Academy on May 11, 2022, at 10.00 WIB simultaneously.

Salahudin became a representative of Cisco Academy Computer Engineering at Diponegoro University after passing the Local Academy level selection stage in the first round. In the second round of the competition which was conducted nationally, all participants, which consisted of approximately 200 participants from various universities in Indonesia, took part in the selection by answering 75 questions. Salahudin said that the material for the questions came from the Cisco Networking Academy Course, such as Introduction to Networking (ITN), Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials (SRWE), and Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation (ENSA).

Salahudin’s preparation to compete in the second round was done in a short time. He admitted that he prepared himself by rereading some of the topics he had studied. His experience as a Vocational School student majoring in Computer and Network Engineering is also said to be very helpful so that before the competition the load of material that needs to be studied is not too much.

Successfully being ranked first in the second round, brought Salahudin as a representative from Indonesia to compete at the APJC level in the final round which will be held at the Cisco Systems Indonesia Office, Jakarta, (24/05/2022).

“I feel very proud to be Indonesia’s representative in the APJC NetAcad Riders 2022 round 3 competition and will try my best to get maximum results,” said Salahudin. Salahudin also asked for prayers and support from parents, lecturers, friends, and all those involved in this competition.
