Semarang, tekkom.ft.undip.ac.id – The V374 team from Undip Computer Engineering consisting of Abdul Rozzaq, Djie Valencia Santoso, and Farhan Ryan Rafli won 2nd place. At the Fordigi Hackathon Challenge 2023 for Yogyakarta Chapter, this DIY and Central Java regional competition was held at Graha Sabha Pramana, Gadjah Mada University.
Fordigi Hackathon Challenge is an innovation and programming competition held by the BUMN Digital Forum and held from April to August. In this competition, the participating teams will compete at the regional level first to advance to the national stage. For the DIY and Central Java regions, the pitchdeck stage will be held on May 9-12, 2023. Then from the pitchdeck stage, 10 teams will be taken to advance to the regional final round which will be held at Gadjah Mada University on May 26-27, 2023.
In this competition, each team will be given one case to be solved through innovation in the form of digital technology-based strategies. In the final Yogyakarta Chapter, participants were given the challenge to create facilities that can help the people of Yogyakarta in developing their creativity and economic potential. Vina Candra Mulyana, Undip Geodesy Engineering student, said that her team’s success was a great opportunity to learn and improve her abilities. He said that this opportunity is a new spirit for him and the team to continue learning.” This is also a new spirit for us to continue to process, learn, and dare to try new things,” said Candra who brought the idea of a capacity building application for people with disabilities with his team.
Abdul Rozzaq, Undip Computer Engineering student who is part of the V374 team, also said the same thing. He felt very lucky to get the opportunity to participate in this competition. “We feel very lucky to get this extraordinary opportunity, which is to be able to present our ideas and ideas in front of SOE stakeholders,” said Rozzaq who together with his team brought ideas about talent development applications for new graduates.
Rozzaq juga berharap, agar keberhasilan ia dan timnya ini dapat menginspirasi mahasiswa lainnya untuk berani mencoba dan tidak takut untuk gagal. “Pesan kami untuk teman-teman mahasiswa agar selalu mencoba dan jangan pernah melewatkan kesempatan yang telah diberikan,” ucapnya.
