Semarang, tekkom.ft.undip.ac.id – The Department of Computer Engineering held a Final Project Expo for the second time at the Computer Laboratory. At this expo, there were 14 teams who participated and showed each other their Final Project work to the attendees who came. As in the first Final Project Expo, the students who participated in this expo came from final semester students who were grouped into a team and given one problem to solve as their Final Project project. This Final Project itself is one of their graduation requirements from the Computer Engineering Department.
Patricia Evericho Mountaines, S.T., M.Cs, coordinator of the Final Project Expo program revealed, this expo is intended as a forum for students to show their skills in public. “This (expo) is a place for students to showcase their skills. The goal is that their expertise can be seen by a large audience, “said this Computer Engineering lecturer.

According to her, there are so many students who actually have skills that are in accordance with the needs of the industry in the current era. However, often the format of the Final Project Seminar makes their work less exposed. From this expo, it is hoped that students will not only help various parties through the results of their Final Project, but also can build their own confidence to dare to show the general public that they have great potential.
The Final Project Expo itself runs for one day, and is attended by students and other academicians. It is hoped that this expo event can continue in the future and continue to be useful for various parties involved.
