Klaten, tekkom.ft.undip.ac.id – Bagus Wijanarko, a student involved in Team II of the KKN (Community Service Program) from Universitas Diponegoro, successfully implemented a project to design and launch the official website of Cawan Village in Jatinom District, Klaten. As the initiator of this project, Bagus was responsible for the planning, development, and launch of the website, aimed at supporting the digitalization of the village.
All members of Team II KKN contributed to various aspects of this project, including information gathering and technical support, ensuring that the website would provide real benefits to the village residents.
During the website development process, Bagus received assistance from the village officials who actively participated in data preparation and collection. The village officials also underwent special training on website management, enabling them to utilize technology as a tool for supporting development and improving the efficiency of village administration. The website was officially launched at an event attended by village officials and the residents of Cawan, where the village head expressed appreciation and support for this initiative, thanking the KKN team from Undip for their contributions.
The creation and training in website management aim to facilitate both residents and external parties in accessing information related to village activities, programs, and policies quickly and transparently. Additionally, the website is expected to promote the economic and tourism potential of Cawan Village, encourage community participation in development and decision-making processes, and enhance transparency in village governance. With this digital platform, Cawan Village can also foster better communication with its residents and the outside world.
Bagus hopes that following the implementation of this program, the residents of Cawan Village will find it easier to access important information quickly and efficiently through the village website. With increased transparency, it is anticipated that the community’s trust in the village government will also strengthen. Furthermore, it is hoped that the village’s potential will become more widely known, attracting the interest of tourists and investors to Cawan Village. Bagus is optimistic that the use of technology in village management will bring about positive changes, streamline administration, and strengthen communication between residents and the village government.
