[ANNOUNCEMENT] Preparation for Making Research and Community Service Proposals in 2023 in the BIMA Application

Community service is an activity of the academic community that utilizes Science and Technology to advance community welfare and educate the nation’s life (Law of DIKTI No. 12, of 2012). One of the activities of the Merdeka Learning Campus is Research / Research and Community Service. The objectives of the Community Service program in Higher Education are:

Implementing community service programs in accordance with National Higher Education Standards
Develop a community empowerment model that is appropriate to local conditions
Increase community service capacity
Provide solutions based on situation analysis according to needs, challenges or problems that exist in the community
Carry out activities that are able to empower people at all economic, political, social and cultural strata
Transfer technology, science and art to the community for the development of human dignity with gender justice, social inclusion and sustainability of natural resources

BIMA is an application for managing research and community service which was previously facilitated through Simlitabmas. This application serves as a means to assist the process of making and processing research and service proposals. In the process, lecturers can make Research and Community Service Program Proposals to be submitted and assessed to the Ministry of Education and Culture and Technology Reviewer. BIMA can be accessed through the link https://bima.kemdikbud.go.id/

We convey the following in the appendix: material regarding the preparation of the 2023 Research and Community Service Proposal in the BIMA Application.

The schedule for receiving proposals will be submitted next after there is a notification from the Directorate of Research, Technology and Community Service of the Ministry of Education and Culture and Technology.
