The Public Lecture “The Role of Computer Technology in the Era of Smart Society 5.0 for Mental Health” was successfully held on Friday (05/08/2022) at the Theater Room of the Deane Building of the Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University, 4th floor. The event began with remarks from the Head of the Department of Computer Engineering, Dr. Adian Fatchur Rochim, S.T., M.T. SMIEEE continued by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Ir. M. Agung Wibowo, M.M., M.Sc., Ph.D. This public lecture presented two speakers who are experts in the field of computer technology for health, namely, Dr. Ir. Melinda Nurdin, M.Sc. from Sylah Kuala University, Aceh and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muzaffar from The University of Malaysia Sabah.
The presentation of the material was opened by Dr. Ir. Melinda Nurdin, M.Sc. who shared her experience in research on the development of EEG (electroencephalography) signal processing methods for children with machine learning-based autism. The next material was delivered by the Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muzaffar about the 4.0 technology ecosystem in the health sector. Interesting material creates interaction between participants and speakers who exchange questions with each other. The discussion session between the participants and the speakers took place after the presentation of each speaker. The discussion led by Dr. Ir. R. Rizal Isnanto S.T., M.M., M.T., and IPM as moderator, went conductively until the end of the event.
The event was closed with a group photo with the speakers and the entire academic community who were present at this event. It is hoped that this public lecture can be a provision of
knowledge in the future.
